Susan Sumser – December 2018
Please join UCF Human Resources in congratulating the newest USPS Employee of the Month (EOM) for December 2018: Susan Sumser. Susan is the Program Assistant in the Immunization Department of Health Services. Kimberly Thrash and Donovan Williams, who took the time to acknowledge her excellent efforts, had this to say about her:
“Since Sue took over the position in 2016, she has set the bar for program management. She successfully completed 56 orientations, ensuring the lowest number possible of incompletes, processing 14,856 incoming and transfer students. Her customer service is outstanding. She can be counted on to always follow through and find the answers to any questions. It is professionals like her, with that personal touch, who make UCF such an amazing university.”

As USPS Employee of the Month, Sue received a $200 cash award, $25 from UCF Business Services and UCF Bookstore, her name in lights on the UCF campus marquee, and an introduction to the President. She is now eligible for the USPS Employee of the Year $2,500 award, announced at the UCF Annual Awards Program.
