Stephania Hayes – February 2020
Please join UCF Human Resources in congratulating the newest USPS Employee of the Month (EOM) for February 2020: Stephania Hayes
Stephania is an Administrative Assistant in the College of Engineering and Computer Sciences. Her nominators, Nina Leonard and Kim Small, had this to say about her:
“Stephania’s consistency, regardless of the situation, is what prompted this nomination. Our office recently went through major staff changes; however, she has remained consistent in ensuring the front desk is staffed and available to address student’s concerns. She exhibits great integrity, teamwork, and consistency in her position.
Stephania, as the first point of contact in our office, helps our mission by welcoming students to our office and to our college. Stephania has implemented a training program for our assistants geared toward professional development enabling many of our assistants to obtain internships with companies.”
As USPS Employee of the Month, she receives a $200 cash award, $25 from UCF Business Services and UCF Bookstore, her name in lights on the UCF campus marquee, and an introduction to the Board of Trustees. She is now eligible for the USPS Employee of the Year $2,500 award, announced at the UCF Knight Star Awards Program.
