Liara Maharaj – January 2019
Please join UCF Human Resources in congratulating the newest USPS Employee of the Month (EOM) for January 2019: Liara Maharaj.
Liara is an Accountant who splits her time between the Business Services Office and the CARD office on Campus. Her nominators, Jenna Capp and Kevin Sowers, told us:
“Everyone knows they can count on her to be accurate in her work and passionate about the students, vendors and employees she helps daily. While balancing her job duties, she earned her MBA at UCF. Liara displays a positive attitude and consistently works to further her department goals. She supports the University’s goals by staying active in financial management improvements and diversity initiatives.”
As USPS Employee of the Month, Liara received a $200 cash award, $25 from UCF Business Services and UCF Bookstore, and her name in lights on the UCF campus marquee. She is now eligible for the USPS Employee of the Year $2,500 award, announced at the UCF Annual Awards Program.
