USPS Employee of the Month – January 2020

Please join UCF Human Resources in congratulating the newest USPS Employee of the Month (EOM) for January 2020: Ida Cerezo. Ida is an Administrative Assistant in the UCF Recreation & Wellness Center. She has been an employee of UCF since 2004. Her nominators, /Michelle Fitzgerald and Sarah Hunt, had this to say about her:

“Ida demonstrates commitment to UCF’s mission and goals daily by her excellent customer service to the community, students and staff. She works with integrity and passion and makes the Recreation and Wellness Center a great place to work and visit.

“Ida models a supportive community as she embraces and values a diverse range of people at RWC. She contacts with many student employees and consistently shows
high performance in how well she interacts with them. She is dedicated to ensuring students have a positive experience at UCF.”

As USPS Employee of the Month, Ida receives a $200 cash award, $25 from UCF Business Services and UCF Bookstore, her name in lights on the UCF campus marquee, and an introduction to the Board of Trustees. She is now eligible for the USPS Employee of the Year $2,500 award, announced at the UCF Knight Star Awards Program
