USPS Employee of the Month – December 2019
Please join UCF Human Resources in congratulating the newest USPS Employee of the Month (EOM) for December 2019: Detective 1st Class Melissa Guadagnino. Her nominators, Commander James Mangan & Sergeant Pablo Vargas, had this to say about her:
“Detective Guadagnino’s dedication and commitment, along with solid detective work, is evident in every case she works. She constantly volunteers for the toughest cases and the hardest assignments, and works tirelessly to keep our community safe.”
“Detective Guadagnino has served the UCFPD Community for six years and has truly made the community a safe place to live, learn, and work. Without her, UCF
would not be as successful in offering high-quality education, student development or research. She assists students to further their civic responsibility by putting a criminal in the criminal justice process. She has shown an unwavering commitment to UCF’s mission, vision and values.”
As USPS Employee of the Month, Detective Guadagnino receives a $200 cash award, $25 from UCF Business Services and UCF Bookstore, her name in lights on the UCF
campus marquee, and an introduction to the Board of Trustees. She is now eligible for the USPS Employee of the Year $2,500 award, announced at the UCF Knight Star
