New Employees must enroll through the insurance administrator, People First (link to PF website https://peoplefirst.myflorida.com or contact via phone 1-866-663-4735), within 60 days from their date of hire. If you do not enroll within your new employee election period, you may do so during Open Enrollment, which takes place each fall from September to October. All Open Enrollment elections are effective January of the following calendar year.
Retirement Plans – Review the available Retirement plans to see what plan works best for you. New employees must submit enrollment forms to Human Resources by the deadlines listed in the New Employee Benefit Guide. Your position also determines what plans you are eligible for.
