Employee Memorials

The Employee Memorial Program honors employees who pass away while in service to UCF.  Human Resources sends memorial flowers on behalf of UCF and installs a brass memorial plaque at Millican Hall to honor the employee.

If departments or individuals want to organize a brief memorial ceremony, here are a few suggestions:

  • Plan an event within a year of the plaque install or a special recognition day
  • Invite people from your office and/or the employee’s family to attend
  • Incorporate a picture of the deceased employee, including the years of employment and the position he or she held on a one-page paper to share with attendees
