Team UCF,
As the holidays approach, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the outstanding work of our incredible community of Knights.
Every day, our leadership team is inspired by the talent, passion, and care that our students, faculty, and staff demonstrate as we work to unleash our collective potential and become the University for the Future.
2022 has been a year filled with change and new challenges. Because of you, we continue to rise to the occasion. Our people are our power — YOU are the fuel that helps to propel UCF forward. UCF is committed to continuing to invest in our faculty and staff, the people who support the success and well-being of our students and who are the backbone of this great university.
Salary Increases and One-Time Payments
When we return in January, benefit-earning non-unit faculty and staff will receive a one-time payment of $2,500 and a one percent across-the-board salary increase. Increases will be effective January 6, 2023, and will appear in paychecks on January 27. Additional program criteria can be accessed here.
Merit Increases
Additionally, UCF will launch a salary program in Spring 2023 that is designed to recognize merit and performance following the completion of annual evaluations in February. Academic year evaluations completed in Fall 2022 will be used for employees represented by the UFF. More information about this new program will be shared in late January.
In-Unit Employees
Salary increases for all in-unit employees (i.e., those represented by a union) must be collectively bargained and will be announced as they are finalized.
Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication throughout 2022. As we continue to unleash the potential within every individual to positively impact the world, we are especially grateful for your contributions to supporting our students and helping to move UCF forward toward our shared goals.
