Pamela McGlinchey – September 2019

Please join UCF Human Resources in congratulating the USPS Employee of the Month (EOM) for September: Pamela McGlinchey.

A UCF employee since May 2015, Pamela works as an Administrative Assistant in Modern Languages and Literature in the College of Arts and Humanities. Her nominators, Dr. Chiara Mazzucchelli and Dr. Geri Smith, had this to say about her:

“Pam’s excellent work record in our department clearly meets and supersedes the criteria for this award in every respect. Her professionalism is invaluable and can be easily seen in her dependability and timeliness in completing assignments, even the dreaded paperwork; in her ability to prioritize work and manager her time.
Pam takes the initiative to make our department function better and ensure we comply with UCF and college policies. She lives the values of diversity and inclusion, has the well-being of students and colleagues at the top of her priorities, and consistently lives up to UCF’s highest ideals, making Pam an outstanding member of the UCF Community.”

As USPS Employee of the Month, Pamela receives a $200 cash award, $25 from UCF Business Services and UCF Bookstore, her name in lights on the UCF campus marquee, and an introduction to the Board of Trustees. She is now eligible for the USPS Employee of the Year $2,500 award, announced at the UCF Knight Star Awards Program.
