USPS Employee of the Month April 2017

April – Gary Burkhart

Please help us congratulate our newest USPS Employee of the Month (EOM) for April 2017 – Gary Burkhart

Gary is the Custodial worker in the Housing Department of Facility and Safety. He is described by his nominators as:

“Gary exemplifies the ideal University of Central Florida employee.
During his time with UCF, he has consistently gone above and beyond what is normally expected of a custodial worker. Gary is the pillar of strength within the housekeeping department and plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the university. During a meeting with the building managers in Gary’s area, they had nothing but praises for his character, organization, and initiative.
UCF’s goal is to be the best, Gary understand this and works towards this goal every day. He always looks for ways to improve himself and those around him.”

We’d like to thank this outstanding employee for his dedication and hard work. Gary receives a one-time $200 cash award, $25 from UCF Business Services and UCF Bookstore, an introduction at the UCF Board of Trustees, a marquee announcement, goody bag, certificate, and surprise presentation. Gary is now eligible for the USPS Employee of the Year $2,500 award, announced at the Annual Awards Program.
We’d also like to recognize her nominators, Alexander Fountain and Rachel Perry, who took the time to acknowledge her excellent efforts among their colleagues.
